Cláudio Barradas holds a PhD in Computer Engineering (2015) from the University of Porto (Faculty of Engineering), a Master in Electrical and Computer Engineering - Digital Systems and Industrial Informatics (2005) from the University of Porto (Faculty of Engineering) and in Computer Engineering (2001) from the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco. He is an adjunct professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém - Escola Superior de Gestão e Tecnologia, where he is a member of the Technical-Scientific Council and of the Pedagogical Council, having coordinated the Degree in Informatics between 2015 and 2022. He was a professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco - Escola Superior de Tecnologia between 2001 and 2009. He is the author/co-author of twenty-two scientific works, three of them published in specialized journals and six published in chapters/parts of books. He participated in the organization of four scientific events and participated in sixteen, where he presented his works. He co-supervised a master's thesis, supervised eighteen undergraduate/bachelor's completion works and co-supervised seven. He received an Academic Achievement Award. He participated as a researcher in three projects. His research, scientific, technological and artistic-cultural production have been carried out in the areas of Distributed Industrial Systems, Electronic Business, Information Systems to support the Innovation Front-end, Web 2.0 and e-Tourism.
