Learning outcomes of the curricular unit (knowledge, skills and competences to be developed by the students)

This option must prepare students to be able, first, to acquire knowledge of technical and scientific nature, and at the same time create capacity to reflect the practice so that you are given tools for a safe intervention technique, and are empowered to adapt and innovation capabilities that allow for future professional success of its intervention.

Syllabus

Children and young people and their sport. Characterization of their context, legal framework, organization, conduct fun for children and young people aged between 6 and 9 years, 10 to 12 years and 13 to 15 years (different age groups)Objectives and Benefits sports regulate; Aspects of motor development that may have influenced the treatment of sports activity; Methodology of sport; the importance and appropriateness of different equipment, materials, spaces and the various sporting activities (knowledge of the body, fun games, games pre-sports and sports games), improved motor development, cognition and socialization of the child; Conduct technical and professional educational intervention with children and youth; Forms of implementation and promotion of innovative projects for sports with children and young people different labor markets.

Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the curricular unit's learning objectives

Domain knowledge of the principles, assumptions, and concepts associated with the sport, the learning goals set and conduct fun for children and young people aged between 6 and 9 years, 10 to 12 years and 13 and 15 (different age groups); Understand the characteristics, capabilities, needs and objectives of the various groups of age, in the context of sport (recreational games and sports games) training and its importance; know the appropriate profile of the professional as an agent responsible for the development of recreational and sports activities; identify and characterize the different existing socioprofessional contexts and begin to liaise with these contexts; Knowing the media, educational materials and safe practice intervention; develop projects / program on sporting activity at school and in sports.

Teaching methodologies (including evaluation)

The methodology will be centered on the teaching-learning process making the improvement of the students' knowledge take place in the confrontation of the difficulties found to solve the tasks proposed in the practical classes with the acquired knowledge and the discussions organized in the classes.
Continuous assessment: students must attend 2/3 of the classes taught throughout the semester: Theoretical-practical intervention in classes (ITP); Individual worksheet (FTI); Group work (TG); Frequency (F). Final classification: (ITPx0.2) + (FTIx0.2) + (TGx0.2) + (Fx0.4). Neither party may be less than 10 values.
Final evaluation through final exam - 3 parts: a) Practical Evaluation [AP]; b) Theoretical Evaluation [AT]; c) Oral Evaluation [AO]. The final classification: [(AP x 0.4) + (AE x 0.4) + (AO x 0.2)]; Neither party may be less than 10 values.
Students in special situations are covered by what is defined in article 19 of the ESDRM Knowledge and Skills Assessment Regulation.


Demonstration of the coherence between the teaching methodologies and the learning outcomes

The methodology will focus on the learning process and will lie in theoretical and practical lessons, practices, and distance learning. It focuses on the classroom teaching, making the improvement of knowledge of the students make in confronting the difficulties encountered in the resolution of the proposed tasks in the classroom with practical knowledge and discussions organized in classes and discussion forum (mediated distance education).
