By the end of this course the student should be able to:
LO1. Formulate an integrated research problem in Health Units Management;
LO2. Design an adequate methodology to solve the research problem;
LO3. Produce an applied project report in Health Units Management;
LO4. Disseminate research results.
In general, the program contents consist of technical and scientific guidance necessary to complete the project by the graduate student, particularly in its theoretical and methodological design and technical in its internal organization, in compliance with the necessary academic conventions and maintaining a high standard of accuracy and scientific quality.
PC1. Observation, context analysis, target and application domains;
PC2. Development of a research project;
PC3. Methodology and strategy of analysis, design and implementation of solutions in the field of management in health units;
PC4. Operationalization of research and development methodologies and strategies in the field of health unit management;
PC5. Writing a research report and disseminating results.
The contents of the course as a technical and scientific guideline to be established in order to fit each guidance and according to the student's work process in a specific subject area is consistent with the purpose of guaranteeing and promoting the development of an applied design to an object or specific domain.
Thus, PC1 and PC2 contribute to LO1, LO3 and PC4 for LO2 and PC5 for LO3 and LO4.
The supervisor must ensure that the student develops a quality and innovative project, stimulating their analytical, critical and reflective spirit, as well as effective communication of the results.
The student will be guided by a teacher, proposed to the Coordination of the course by the student, and presenting the proposed theme and design plan integrated in a relevant organization of the health sector.
The activities will be motorized by a professional of reference in the organization.
The evaluation is based on the presentation and public discussion of the Applied Project report before a jury elected for that purpose.
The coherence occurs from the principles of adult education and the centrality of learning in the learner. Learning objectives are demonstrated from the production and analysis capabilities of data and results obtained from the research process.
