Teaching and learning methodologies specific to the curricular unit articulated with the pedagogical model

Theoretical, tutorial and laboratory teaching

Assessment

Continuous assessment is optional and may lead to partial or total exemption from the final exam.
Continuous assessment of the theoretical component consists of four short written tests distributed through the class period.
Continuous assessment of the laboratory component consists of work sheets performed during laboratorial sessions.
Continuous assessment grade:
0,70 TE+ 0,30 TL
where TE is the average test grade and TL is the average lab assessment grade
Partial exam exemption:
0,70 TE+ 0,30 TL > 10 and
TE,TL or some individual test grades >8 and
all assessment item grades > 8
Total exam exemption:
0,70 TE+ 0,30 TL > 10 and
all assessment item grades > 8
Final Exam: 1 written test and 1 lab test.
Final grade:
0,70 PE+ 0,30 PL
where PE is the average continuous assessment test or corresponding exam part grade and
PL is the continuous assessment or exam lab grade.
The evaluation of PL, upon approval, will be maintained for 2 consecutive years after obtaining it.
