Acquire knowledge about safety and health at work.
Develop knowledge about risks associated with the workplace and general preventive measures.
Fundamental concepts about Safety and Health at work.
Legal and legal context of safety and health at work.
Principles on individual and collective protection.
Principles of Ergonomics.
The contents of the curricular unit, organized around relevant aspects inherent to safety and health at work, envisage the development of knowledge leading to the enhancement of the practice of the professional superior technician of health secretariat in accordance with the norms of health and safety at work, looking forward to the promotion of their health, safety and quality of their actions.
Theoretical contents are presented by mobilizing mainly the expository-interactive method using powerpoint presentations and videos.
Priority is given, in groups, to guided research, reading and analysis of reference texts.
The research, reading and analysis of complementary documents are recommended as relevant strategies within the scope of the student's autonomous work.
The evaluation of the curricular unit is carried out by carrying out a written test.
Assessment:
- Individual written test (70%)
- Written group work [40%] and classroom presentation [60%] = (30%) of the UC assessment
The expository-interactive method allows students to assimilate the fundamental contents and participate in their own learning.
Group work allows the student to develop the capacity for analysis and synthesis as well as, through the confrontation of ideas, the training of interpersonal skills.
As a whole, the teaching methodologies contribute to the development of the ability to apply the knowledge, skills and attitudes inherent to the UC.
