Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the curricular unit's learning objectives
The knowledge and understanding of human development, in the multiple life contexts and subject to systemic - environmental, psychological and socio-cultural variables, among others, constitutes a situation of learning and construction of skills, for the ability to identify and analyze data leading to a diagnosis of Groups, who share developmental and contextual experiences as well as the understanding of the influence of these variables on the health and well-being of the groups.
Understanding and sensitivity for the recognition of the interconnection of the whole with the parts, characteristic of the systemic perspective of human development, are a fundamental condition in the nursing student's training course.
Teaching methodologies (including evaluation)
Expositive-interactive method on health determinants of the young, adult and elderly, in the interaction with the tasks of development of the person in these stages of the life cycle. Group work on built diagnostic situations in the young, adult and elderly, while training in analysis skills and synthesis of information, as well as the ability to search and analyse information from various sources. Seminar discussion between students and teacher. The evaluation results from a group work, with orientation of the process and the presentation in the classroom , with a weighting of 25%; and an individual written test with 75% weighting in the final classification.
The autonomous component of the curricular unit will be implemented through bibliographic research and complementary readings recommended by the teachers
Demonstration of the coherence between the teaching methodologies and the learning outcomes
The teaching methodologies indicated are congruent with the learning objectives of the Curricular Unit, inasmuch as: the expository-interactive methodology allows the acquisition of basic knowledge in the scope of the subject matter, ensuring the acquisition of skills, in a cognitive scope; The group work supports the development of the capacity for analysis and synthesis, as well as the training of interpersonal skills, through the discussion in the classroom and the various moments of teacher-student interaction. The dissemination and confrontation of different perspectives through the seminar allow the development of competences, at an elementary level, by the capacity to generate new ideas, also from the mobilization of contents of the different Curricular Units, whose contributions will be enhanced.
The diversity and intercomplementarity of the strategies used in the different moments of pedagogical work ensure the accompaniment of the teaching / learning process, allowing to reorient the same, in the sense of acquiring the desired competences in this period of the training cycle.
