At the end of the curricular period of this UC, the student should be able to understand the concepts to:

Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the curricular unit's learning objectives

This coherence derives from the interconnection of the programmatic contents with the learning objectives (LO), as explained below:

Teaching methodologies (including evaluation)

The classes will be theoretician-practical with the exposition of the fundamental concepts and theories of the syllabus, as well as the analysis and discussion of texts, case studies, videos and student work. Seminars with the participation of guest speakers will also be used. In classes, the following methodologies will be used
M1. expositive method (for the exposition of the fundamental concepts and theories);
M2. participatory method (involving students in the discussion of texts, case studies, videos, with a view to integration and consolidation of knowledge, debates on the theoretical component);
M3. active method (for dynamics of skills development, as well as individual and group work).

Assessment: Written and individual test (100%).


Demonstration of the coherence between the teaching methodologies and the learning outcomes

The exposition of fundamental concepts and theories (M1) equips students with the necessary knowledge to critically identify leadership approaches (LO1, LO2), as well as to know which are the main concepts and theories related to teamwork, conflict management and change management (LO3, LO4 and LO5).
The discussion of texts, the resolution of cases and the critical analysis of videos and documentaries (M2), related to leadership, motivation, teamwork, conflict management and change management (LO1, LO2, LO3, LO4, LO5 and LO6), will allow students to approach the complexity of behaviour and organizational development in health organizations, aware of the growing demands of this sector.
The research and realization of a thematic work and group dynamics (M3) will contribute to the development of critical thinking and the decision-making process, as well as to the acquisition of leadership skills, change management and conflict management (LO1, LO2, LO3, LO4, LO5 and LO6).
The different learning objectives will be assessed through the work to be developed and presented in class (A1& A2).
