The contents are selected taking into account the 'volume' to be achieved. In this way, the syllabus aims to include active pedagogical and inclusive communication practices with methodical exercises (dyad and triad) for the transversal learning of vocabulary, grammar and cultural contents necessary to achieve the three proposed volumes.
The program contents are linked together, allowing the student, in their learning path and in autonomous work, to construct sentences or non-verbal communication using the following methods:
a)Expository
- visual/gestural
- dramatization
b)Interrogative
-quiz game in LGP
- conversation
d) Demonstrative
- hand configuration
The continuous assessment consists of 3 frequencies. Each assessment moment will focus on part of the objectives of the curricular unit and articulation with the respective learning volumes.
Each frequency will have components of visual-spatial identification (gestural observation) and respective oral-gestural or written correspondence (50%) and story presentation (sentence construction) in Portuguese Sign Language (50%).
The final classification of the continuous/frequency assessment will be based on the classification obtained over the three volumes: 1volume - 30%; 2volume - 30%, 3volume - 40%.
The minimum approval for the UC through continuous assessment is 10.00 points.
The practice of language contents and the realization of activities to work on linguistic skills (facial expression, motor coordination, interaction and comprehension, manual visuospatial expression and communication) are intended to develop a communicative competence appropriate to the desired level.
In class, the student will simulate and reproduce different situations in various contexts of daily life and health, contributing to personal, professional and academic performance.
These practices fit in with the principles of the holistic and total and transversal communication method, based on the communicative and skills inclusion approach.
