This course has been designed to serve as a form of professional and personal development for students. In this way, the aim is to deepen their knowledge in the most common first aid procedures, as well as to prevent these as much as possible. On the other hand, the aim is for them to acquire knowledge of how to act in an accident situation to maintain the person's health and well-being.
Teaching methodologies (including evaluation)
Participatory exhibition Use of the laboratory for laboratory practice Demonstration classes Guided study through the moodel platform: this autonomous component of the course should be carried out by the students using bibliographic analysis of the topics covered and other activities considered complementary to the development of the inherent competences. Individual practical test: 70% Evaluation and reflection sheets (3 sheets): 30%
Demonstration of the coherence between the teaching methodologies and the learning outcomes
The methods selected promote the development of skills in reflecting on the person in a situation of altered health and well-being, developing proficiency in reflection for action, management and decision-making based on scientific knowledge and the application of basic first aid procedures to improve or maintain the state of health of the person in altered health. The laboratory practical¿s provide students with the opportunity to implement basic procedures for people in a CPR situation and training on how to act in a CPR situation.
The assessment methodology aims to promote learning within the scope of the course and is centered on the objectives and competences previously defined.
